Cambridge Investments & Research issued the following announcement on Dec. 8.

As an extension of the firm's main campus, Cambridge, a leading financial solutions firm, has announced the opening of a new office space located in Phoenix, Arizona. With this latest expansion effort, Cambridge now has offices in the Southwest, Midwest, and Southeast regions of the country. The firm, with about $125 billion in assets under advisement1 and approximately $1 billion in annual revenues, provides financial solutions and services to more than 3,700 independent financial professionals and financial advisors.

“This expansion is part of our strategic growth objectives in serving independent financial professionals and their investing clients,” said Cambridge President and CEO, Amy Webber. “Our dedication to making a difference in the lives of our financial professionals is at the core of everything we do, and we are excited to open our new office for our growing team in the Phoenix area.”

Cambridge is the sixth largest independent broker-dealer2 and serves independent financial professionals based in every state. Its new office in the Phoenix metro area is designed to support 50 locally based associates in professional roles ranging from digital marketing to technology and other business and service areas. In addition to enhancing the firm’s financial services and recruiting presence in the western half of the country, the Phoenix office will also provide additional backup systems options.

Webber added, “The Phoenix metro area is home to many financial services companies and broadens our reach to skilled and seasoned career minded professionals – especially those who appreciate a shared sense of purpose, values and dedication to independence.” Cambridge currently employs about 900 corporate associates located throughout the United States, and in spite of the pandemic, has continued to hire new associates according to 2020 plans. While many companies shuttered summer internships due to COVID-19 impacts, Cambridge delivered on its commitments to aspiring college students and hosted over two dozen internships on a virtual basis.
