CAMBRIDGE INVESTMENTS & RESEARCH: Cambridge Honors Parker Consaul, Steve James, and Wanda Delgado with the 2019 Spirit of Cambridge Award
Cambridge Investments & Research issued the following announcement on Sept. 27.
Cambridge congratulates three of the firm’s independent financial advisors – Parker Consaul, Steve James, and Wanda Delgado – as they have been awarded the 2019 Spirit of Cambridge Award. Each year Cambridge honors three advisors for reflecting the firm’s core values in the service they provide to their clients. They are recognized on stage during Ignite, Cambridge’s annual national conference, and with a $1,000 donation to a qualified charity of their choice.

Parker Consaul, partner and branch manager at Pivotal Financial Advisors, LLC in Fort Worth, Texas, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the Financial Services Institute (FSI). Parker joined Cambridge in 2009 and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, along with 25 years of service in the military. Parker has selected Navy-Marine Corp Relief Society to receive the $1,000 donation. Their mission is to provide assistance to members of the Naval Service of the United States, eligible family members, and survivors when in need.
Steve James, managing director at Summit Financial Solutions in Tempe, Arizona, joined Cambridge in 2004 and has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Steve studied finance and communication at Arizona State University, and within his practice he specializes in working with school district, university, and small business retirement plans and their participants. He has selected the Wounded Warrior Project as the non-profit organization to receive the $1,000 donation. The Wounded Warrior Project provides support to veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military on or after September 11, 2001.
Wanda Delgado, founder and owner of Insight Financial Advisors in Santa Ana, California, is a Certified Financial Professional™ with more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry and joined Cambridge in 2009. She earned bachelor’s degrees in business administration and French from California State University – San Bernardino. Additionally, she has been a six-time Women’s Choice Award® Financial Advisor honoree. Wanda chose Help for Brain Injured Children (HBIC), a local Santa Ana non-profit that provides assistance to individuals with disabilities and their families throughout the Southern California region, while consulting with families and professionals worldwide.
About The Spirit of Cambridge Award
The Spirit of Cambridge Award is given annually to independent financial advisors who are dedicated to serving their clients while reflecting Cambridge’s core values of integrity, commitment, flexibility, and kindness. Each year, Cambridge home office associates select three award recipients from a pool of outstanding advisors who have been affiliated with Cambridge for at least 10 years. The awards are presented on stage during Ignite, Cambridge’s annual national conference, along with a $1,000 donation by Cambridge to a qualified charity of each recipient’s choice to further honor their spirit and dedication to Cambridge and the industry.
The Spirit of Cambridge awards began in 2012 and over the years more than 20 advisors have been recognized, with thousands of dollars being donated to charities across the country.
