PRINCIPAL FINANCIAL GROUP: Principal brings in industry leading client engagement and marketing talent to support ETF lineup
Principal Financial Group issued the following announcement on Sept. 12.
Principal Global Investors has announced prominent additions to its ETF team with the recent hiring of head of marketing and ETF specialists across the nation to deepen its client engagement. These new hires join an existing talented team of professionals with a successful track record of building ETF companies.
Ed Nini joined as the Marketing head for the business in June and is responsible for spearheading the marketing vision and strategy for the platform. He brings to Principal over a decade of ETF experience, most recently serving as Head of ETF Marketing and ETF Specialists at Oppenheimer Funds. He also previously led iShares marketing for BlackRock’s U.S. wealth advisory business and advisor channel marketing at Vanguard.
Principal has also recently expanded its ETF Specialists Team nationally to provide deeper expertise for clients and advisors. Matt Cohen will be the new Director of ETF Sales leading the specialist team. Cohen has been with Principal since December 2017 and previously held Director of Sales roles at Muzinich & Co. and BlackRock.
