Cambridge congratulates Big Sky Advisors on being named by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) as one of the 15 recipients of the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award. This national award serves as the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their outstanding support of employees serving in the Guard and Reserve.

The Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award started in 1996 and since has honored 250 employers nationwide. The ESGR received and reviewed more than 2,350 nominations in 2018. A national selection board of senior Department of Defense officials, business leaders, and prior awardees select the award recipients. The annual ceremony will be held at the Pentagon in Washington, DC, with the awards being presented by the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of Defense.
