Wilmington Trust welcomes Lo as chief wealth strategist
Wilmington Trust has appointed Alvina Lo as chief wealth strategist to oversee planning, advice and thought leadership services for Wilmington’s Wealth Advisory division.
Lo, who has more than a decade of financial service industry experience, will manage a national team.
“Alvina has a tremendous depth of experience in wealth management and her addition underscores our focus on building on our capabilities and providing our clients with the tools, expertise, and guidance they need to achieve their goals," Chief Fiduciary Officer Don DiCarlo said. "She has a great understanding of the unique challenges and strategic opportunities that high-net-worth clients face and a proven track record of delivering excellence.”
Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Lo was employed by Citi Private Bank as a director and senior wealth planner. She was also a director with Credit Suisse and a law practitioner at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy, LLP in the Trust & Estates Group.
Lo has a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, a degree from the University of Virginia, and a Certificate in Estate Planning from New York University School of Law. She is an author on estate planning, a lecturer at the American Bar Association, and a participant in the Barron’s Top Women Advisors Summit.
