Skolnik to direct Baird’s global investment banking group
The global investment banking group of employee-owned financial services firm Baird has appointed Brett Skolnik as managing director on the global health care team.
In his new role, Skolnik will cover health care facilities and alternate site providers, focusing on multi-site physician and other provider groups, behavioral health and post-acute care.
"Brett is a great addition to our global health care investment banking practice and we are thrilled to have Brett continue his career at Baird," global investment banking group co-head Brian Doyal said. "His industry experience, deep knowledge of the health care provider landscape and strong M&A skill set will help us continue to expand our coverage of the health care services sector."
Skolnik previously worked for BMO Capital Markets as the managing director of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions group since 2010. Before joining BMO, he worked for Piper Jaffray & Co. as a managing director.
Skolnik graduated from the Lehigh University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and from Columbia University with an MBA.
