Sammons employee credits career success to company's leaders
Sammons Financial Group's Dylan Lampe, who heads the company's administration training and life and annuity quality control team, recently shared his insights on effective leadership and its impact on employees.
In a recent interview for Sammons' "Inside Look" series, Lampe shared his experience in working for the insurance holding company. Lampe, who started as a temporary employee with Sammons, says the company's leaders helped him to develop his career.
"I moved back to Iowa about eight years ago and picked up a job at Sammons Financial Group as a temporary employee and have moved into different positions over the course of the last eight years due to leaders taking care of me and taking me under their wing," Lampe said in the video. "When I started here, I came from an industry that didn't necessarily put that type of stake in culture and a positive culture."
He says when he came to Sammons, he was "taken aback" by how much Sammons leaders have helped him to reach his career goals.
"I take great pride in working for a company that gets to directly impact people's lives and so many people often worry about their financial stability and finances," he said in the video. "I am just very proud to work for a company that really cares about their customers and takes great ownership in handling all of their needs the best we can."
Sammons Financial Group companies include Midland National Life and North American Life.
