Raymond James receives 2 M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards
Raymond James Investment Banking took home two deal-of-the-year awards during the 12th annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards.
The company was specifically honored with the Professional Services (B-to-B) award and the Restructuring Community Impact honor during the awards night held last month in Palm Beach, Florida.
The two awards stemmed from the $540.5 million preferred stock investment made by the company in Roadrunner Transportation Systems. Team lead Geoffrey Richards was extremely proud of his 14-man team and its commitment to its duties.
“I’m proud of my colleagues for being recognized for their efforts and the outcomes they continue to deliver to our clients,” Richards said.
Raymond James previously won Investment Banking Firm of the Year honors in 2015 and 2016. However, it was the first time for the company to receive the Restructuring Community Impact Deal of the Year award, which recognizes companies for being able to preserve jobs for their employees.
