Atlanta Public Schools to receive HOPE Inside services from SunTrust Bank
SunTrust Bank is extending its HOPE Inside Program, an award-winning financial empowerment model powered by Operation HOPE, to the teachers and employees of Atlanta Public Schools.
The program provides financial dignity counselling in various methods like credit and money management, homeownership preparedness and small business development programs. Through Operation HOPE, financial well-being coaches in bank branches, government offices, grocery stores, and other community locations can assist the 5,000 teachers and employees of Atlanta's schools.
The teacher and employees of Atlanta will have the access the financial well-being coach at the Center for Learning and Leadership Building, 130 Trinity Ave. SW, in Downtown Atlanta or at their own workplaces,each and every day of the week.
John Hope Bryant, founder, chairman and CEO of Operation HOPE, expressed his expectations to meet the program's goal of having 1,000 operational locations by 2020.
"We are grateful for the partnership, and commend Atlanta Public Schools leadership for taking this step to empower employees,” he said.
SunTrust Bank sponsors 17 HOPE Inside branch locations in six states and the District of Columbia.
