FCS America appoints 4 new members to board seats
Sioux City, Iowa-based Farm Credit Services of America, a customer-owned financial cooperative supporting farmers and ranchers across four western states, recently announced its stockholder election results, naming four new members to its board of directors.
The four elected by stockholders — all to serve four-year terms — are Robert Bruxvoort of New Sharon, Iowa; Tom Farwell of Humboldt, Nebraska; John Reisch of Howard, South Dakota; and Susan Voss of North English, Iowa.
A fifth member, Mark Weiss of Omaha, Nebraska, was re-appointed to the board and will serve from April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2022.
Bruxvoort, a 10-year board member, runs a farm and is a partner in a pork business. Farwell also farms, raising corn, soybeans, wheat and brome hay crops and Angus cattle. He leads the Nebraska Gideon’s Southeast Camp.
Reisch, also a 10-year member, raises grain crops — wheat, soybeans and alfalfa — along with cattle, and serves on two local boards. Voss works as secretary and treasurer for her family corn and soybean enterprise, BS Farms. She is also a CPA at a local firm and belongs to several professional organizations.
FCS America’s board represents a wide variety of agricultural professionals in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.
