Neuberger Berman advisers earn spots on prestigious Barron's list
The private investment firm Neuberger Berman has some of their states' top wealth advisers, according to the Barron’s List for 2018.
Four Neuberger Berman advisers are repeat winners: Tripp Taylor (California); Peter Arbes (Virginia); and Holly Newman Kroft and William Peterson (New York). Newcomers to the list are Lisa Reed, who is ranked No. 90 in California, and Stephanie Stiefel, who is No. 14 in New York.
“We are exceptionally proud to have 10 of our wealth advisers ranked among the top 1,200,” Kenneth Rende, the head of Wealth Management at Neuberger Berman said. "These advisers represent a group of financial professionals who are dedicated and committed to serving the needs of clients.”
Other Neuberger Berman advisers to make the list included Richard Szelc, a Dallas-based managing director advising on $1.9 billion for clients, who was ranked No. 1 in Texas. This was the third year for him to receive this honor. He joined Neuberger Berman in 2000.
Brian Hahn was ranked in the top five in Illinois by Barron’s for the second year in a row. Hahn advises on $1.7 billion in client assets and is the managing director of the firm. He came on board in 1995 in Chicago, and his team specializes in the implementation of comprehensive wealth management solutions.
New York-based Seth Finkel, a managing director at Neuberger Berman, moved up to No. 7 from No. 10. He heads a wealth advisory team with $3.1 billion in client assets and has been with the company since 1990.
Neuberger Berman was founded in 1939 and has remained private.
