Investments & Wealth Institute to host annual conference in Nashville
Investments & Wealth Institute will hold a conference on investment and wealth management from May 6-9 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
The 2018 Annual Conference Experience will include general sessions, super sessions and workshops that will offer learning opportunities in investment management, wealth management, advanced business strategies, retirement management, institutional consulting and wholesaling.
General session speakers include Duke University professor Dan Ariely; psychologist and journalist Daniel Goleman; Pippa Malmgren, a former economic adviser to President George H. W. Bush; Harvard University lecturer Vikram Mansharamani; and Swiss Finance Institute associate professor Alexander Wagner.
Ariely will discuss the psychology of money; Goleman will talk about the use of emotional intelligence to serve clients; and Malmgren will tackle the impact of public and private innovations on the global economy. Mansharamani will teach the audience how to identify bubbles and navigate economic uncertainty and Wagner will speak about ethical decision-making for investment and wealth managers.
The event will feature a pre-conference workshop that will explore ways to serve high net-worth customers using advanced ethics and expertise.
The conference will also provide continuing education opportunities for Certified Investment Management Analysts, Certified Private Wealth Advisers, Certified Investment Management Consultants, and Retirement Management Advisers.
