First Republic has received the top overall award for private banking from Private Asset Management magazine, marking eight years in a row that it has attained such recognition. 

Jim Herbert, chairman and CEO of First Republic Bank, said the company gained the best overall private bank award due to its commitment to customer service.

The magazine previously ranked First Republic as the best private bank in North America, best private bank for client service and best private wealth manager.
