Merrill Lynch Wealth Management adds client-to-adviser text messaging
Reaching out to your financial adviser may soon be easier than ever for some Merrill Lynch Wealth Management clients.
Through a new partnership with CellTrust, the financial industry giant will add “new client-to-adviser texting capabilities as part of an enhanced suite of digital features designed to make it easier for clients to collaborate with their financial advisers.”
“Texting is just our latest investment in building our state-of-the-art digital capabilities – so that we can serve our clients when, where and how they want,” Andy Sieg, head of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, said. “It’s one more step toward making the full advantages of our combined Bank of America and Merrill Lynch platform of products and services easily accessible.”
CellTrust is on tap to manage, track and deliver text messaging, an option that’s expected to make a day’s work much more convenient and less complicated for Lynch's nearly 15,000 financial advisers.
After enrolling in Merrill’s mobility program, financial advisers will have the ability to text with clients on both Apple and Android devices and through a web interface that offers secure access to everything ranging from corporate email accounts to personal contact lists on devices linked to their office phone numbers.
